Statutory warranty rights apply to our deliveries and services in accordance with the respective type of contract and the customer's status.
Statutory Warranty
Statutory warranty rights apply to our deliveries and services in accordance with the respective type of contract and the customer's status.
A distinction may be made between consumers and commercial customers.
The specific duration and scope result from the individual contract, our General Terms and Conditions and the statutory provisions.
Additional Guarantees
A voluntary manufacturer's guarantee only becomes part of the contract if it has been expressly granted in the individual quotation, in the order confirmation or in a separate guarantee declaration.
Such a guarantee may relate, for example, to certain parts, structures or technical components.
Guarantees provided by manufacturers for windows, doors, heating units, air conditioning systems, electrical appliances or other branded components are governed by the respective manufacturer's guarantee conditions.
Conditions for Warranty Claims
The customer must handle the product in accordance with its intended use and carry out any required maintenance work properly.
In particular, no warranty applies to damage resulting from:
- improper use
- unauthorised modifications carried out without our consent
- unapproved drilling or interventions
- inadequate maintenance
- unsuitable foundations
- faulty on-site connections
- overloading
- mechanical damage
- exceptional weather conditions
- force majeure
- interventions by unauthorised third parties
Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
Reporting a Defect
Any possible defect should be reported to us in writing as quickly as possible, together with meaningful photos.
The report should contain:
- project number
- location
- precise description
- time at which it occurred
- photos or videos
- details of any measures already taken
We then examine the case and agree the further course of action with the customer.
