Installation Conditions

Site preparation

The installation site must be fully prepared before delivery.

Depending on the project, this includes:

• completed foundations
• load-bearing subsoil
• level installation surface
• clear access route
• power connection
• water connection
• sewage connection
• earthing
• sufficient working area
• crane set-up area
• required permits

Foundations

Foundations are only part of our scope of services if this has been expressly agreed.

If the foundations are constructed by the customer or by a third-party company, they must be executed exactly in accordance with our technical specifications.

Deviations may lead to:

• installation delays
• additional costs
• damage
• leaks
• problems with the module connections
• structural impairments

Utility connections

The final connection to electricity, water, sewage, gas, telecommunications or other supply lines is only included if it has been expressly commissioned.

Connections to public networks may have to be carried out by locally approved specialist companies.

Crane and unloading

Depending on the project, unloading can be carried out using:

• our own loading crane
• a truck-mounted crane
• a mobile crane
• a crane provided by the customer

The required crane capacity depends on weight, reach, obstacles and the installation site. The final selection is made after the local conditions have been inspected.

Waiting times and additional costs

If waiting times or additional work arise because the site has not been prepared, additional costs may be charged.

This applies, for example, in the case of:

• a blocked access route
• unsuitable foundations
• a missing crane
• unfinished connections
• missing permits
• insufficient working area
• an unavailable contact person
• short-notice change requests

Handover and acceptance

After the installation has been completed, a joint inspection takes place.

Identifiable defects, outstanding work or remarks are documented in the acceptance report.

As a rule, insignificant defects do not entitle the customer to refuse acceptance.

The statutory provisions remain unaffected.
